The following are the terms and conditions ("Gift Card Terms") applicable to your AURA gift card (the "Gift Card", “Digital Gift Card”), and are in addition and subject to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, which are incorporated by reference herein and apply to your interactions on AURA.BEAUTY (the "Site")

PLEASE READ THESE GIFT CARD TERMS CAREFULLY BEFORE PURCHASING OR REDEEMING A GIFT CARD FROM AURA BEAUTY, INC. ("AURA," "WE," OR "US"). BY PURCHASING OR REDEEMING A GIFT CARD, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THIS AGREEMENT INCLUDING ANY ADDITIONAL TERMS, CONDITIONS, AND POLICIES INCORPORATED BY REFERENCE INTO IT.

If you don't agree with any term or condition in these Gift Card Terms, please don't purchase or redeem a Gift Card.

1. GIFT CARD ELIGIBILITY:

Gift Cards may only be purchased and redeemed by persons residing in the United States, and may only be used on the Site.

2. GIFT CARD PURCHASE:

Gift Cards are available for purchase for the following values: 3 months ($54), 6 months ($108), 12 months ($216) US dollars. The amount of the Gift Card you purchase shall be charged to you according to your selected method of payment. No fees of any kind will be imposed on purchasers or recipients of Gift Cards in connection with the sale of Gift Cards.

A membership is not required to purchase a Gift Card (but as described below, is required to redeem the Gift Card). If the Gift Card is purchased for an individual other than you, the recipient of the Gift Card shall be notified via email at the email address you provide during the purchase.

3. GIFT CARD REDEMPTION:

You must become an Aura Member, or start a new membership, to redeem a Gift Card. Gift Cards may only be redeemed toward the purchase of a eligible subscription on the Site. Redemption of Gift Cards on the Site is subject to change in Aura’s sole discretion. 

Gift Cards cannot be combined with any promotional offers. 

Once a Gift Card is redeemed, its value is automatically applied on a monthly recurring basis. If an purchase from Aura exceeds the balance of the Gift Card, the outstanding balance for the purchase must be paid with an acceptable payment method.

4. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:

AURA MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO GIFT CARDS, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IN THE EVENT A GIFT CARD CODE IS NON-FUNCTIONAL, UNLESS SUCH NON- FUNCTIONALITY IS DUE TO THE GIFT CARD BEING FULLY REDEEMED, OUR SOLE LIABILITY SHALL BE FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF SUCH GIFT CARD CODE. CERTAIN STATE LAWS DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES. IF THESE LAWS APPLY TO YOU, SOME OR ALL OF THE ABOVE DISCLAIMERS, EXCLUSIONS, OR LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU, AND YOU MIGHT HAVE ADDITIONAL RIGHTS.

5. LIMITATIONS ON USE:

Gift Cards are not returnable or refundable (whether for cash or otherwise). To the fullest extent provided by applicable law, Gift Cards cannot be reloaded, resold, transferred for value, redeemed for cash (except as required by law), or applied to any other Ipster’s account. Unused Gift Card balances may not be transferred., and cannot be used to purchase other Gift Cards. Gift Cards do not expire and are not subject to any transaction fees.

Gift Cards may be used as personal gifts, but may not be used in connection with any marketing, advertising, or other promotional activities (including without limitation via websites, Internet advertisements, email, telemarketing, direct mail, newspaper and magazine advertisements, and radio and television broadcasts), or any other commercial use. Furthermore, the use of Gift Cards in any manner that states or implies that any person, website, business, product, or service is endorsed or sponsored by, or otherwise affiliated with, Aura or affiliates is prohibited.

6. DELIVERY OF GIFT CARDS: 

We are not responsible for Gift Cards that are undeliverable or not received due to your failure to enter an email address for the recipient. Please check to make sure the address of the recipient is correct and contact help at aura.beauty if you suspect the recipient did not receive the Gift Card.

7. RISK OF LOSS:

Title to the Gift Card and the risk of loss, destruction or deterioration pass to the purchaser upon our electronic transmission to the purchaser or recipient. Aura is not liable or responsible for any Gift Card that is lost, stolen, destroyed, or used without your permission. IN THE EVENT A GIFT CARD IS NON-FUNCTIONAL, YOUR SOLE REMEDY, AND OUR SOLE LIABILITY, WILL BE THE REPLACEMENT OF SUCH GIFT CARD CODE. Gift Cards will not be replaced if lost or stolen without proof of purchase. If you suspect that your Gift Card has been lost or stolen, please immediately contact us at aura.beauty. 

8. GENERAL TERMS:

The General Terms set forth in our Terms of Use (including, but not limited to, the handling of any disputes) are hereby incorporated by reference.

We reserve the right to require additional verification of your identity, Gift Card or account ownership, or provision of an additional payment instrument, before you are able to apply a Gift Card to your or a recipient’s account to a purchase.

If any of these Gift Card Terms are deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that unenforceable term will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining terms and conditions.

9. MODIFICATIONS TO GIFT CARD TERMS:

We may modify these Gift Card Terms at any time, with or without notice, even though these changes may affect your ability to use the Gift Card, subject to our compliance with applicable laws. The most current version of these Gift Card Terms will be available on the Site and will supersede all previous versions of these Gift Card Terms.
